In memory of the lives of the Tobin Family who died unexpectedly, Regina’s family has requested their memories live on through donations to the Northeast Ohio Chapter of CISV. Regina served as co-secretary in 2020 and co-president in 2018-19. She also was an active member of the chapter’s fundraising and events committees. She cared deeply about raising funds for the chapter to host programs that would bring children from many countries to Northeast Ohio for a life-changing cultural experience, and promoted scholarships to ensure more children would have the opportunity to form global friendships through these unparalleled programs.
Regina first learned about CISV from a friend in the Detroit chapter when her twins were toddlers and was eager to get them involved when they turned 11. She was drawn to CISV because it mirrored her strong belief in equality, justice, diversity and a global village.
Natalie attended a Village in Porvoo, Finland in 2017 and had planned to participate in the Step Up to Jacksonville, Florida in the summer of 2020 before the pandemic halted all programming worldwide. Graham participated in the family-centered Interchange program with Linz, Austria in 2018. Both Junior Branch members formed strong bonds with the young people they met, both locally and internationally.
Thank you for helping to keep the Tobins’ memory alive in the spirit of peace and friendship.
